Welcome To Our Rheumatology Clinic
Dr Wright is a Consultant Rheumatologist at the Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast and Musgrave Park Hospital Belfast.He is Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Queens University Belfast.
Dr Wright trained in Belfast and Nottingham. He is an accredited Rheumatologist and is on the GMC Specialist Register for Rheumatology. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. He is a member of the British Society for Rheumatology and Irish Society for Rheumatology.
His research interests include the genetics of rheumatic disease, osteoarthritis, early diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory arthritis, biological therapies for rheumatic disease and musculoskeletal ultrasound in rheumatic disorders.
Dr Wright is the Northern Ireland Representative on the Regional Affairs Committee of the British Society for Rheumatology and is a member of Council of the Irish Society for Rheumatology.
Dr Wright is available for private consultations at his rooms in Belfast. He is also available for instruction for medico-legal work by solicitors and other agencies as an expert witness to the court. Read more
